Frequently Asked Questions about our
Industry Solutions
1. What quantities are your industry solutions suitable for?
We manufacture both sample parts and small series as well as large series.
- Small series / projects: e.g. individual furniture components, shopfitting parts or special solutions for individual objects.
- Series production: recurring components and modules that are regularly required over longer periods.
2. What data and documents do you need for a quotation?
Ideally:
- CAD data (e.g. STEP, DXF, DWG)
- Technical drawings with dimensions, tolerances and surface specifications
- Information on the planned quantity (initial order and annual quantity)
- If applicable, photos, samples or reference products
Based on this data, we check feasibility, select suitable manufacturing processes and prepare a reliable quotation.
3. Do you also provide support with development and design - or do you only manufacture according to drawings?
Both are possible.
- If you have finished drawings, we manufacture 1:1 according to specification.
- If you have an idea, a sample or a rough sketch, we support you in the welding and production-oriented design, optimize components for series production, assembly and surfaces.
This is particularly interesting for furniture components, shopfitting systems and special solutions in mechanical engineering.
4. What surfaces and finishes do you offer for industry solutions?
Depending on the industry and application, we can, for example, coat components:
- Electroplate (corrosion protection, decorative layers)
- Powder coat in various colors and gloss levels
- Combine with other surface finishes
For example, visible furniture components can be designed to be visually high-quality, while technical components are more focused on function and protection.
5. How do you ensure consistent quality in series production?
We work with:
- Defined testing and release processes from sample to series
- Documented manufacturing parameters (e.g. during welding)
- Trained specialists and modern machinery
- Random dimensional and functional tests
Especially in medical technology, mechanical engineering and shopfitting systems, reproducible quality is crucial, and our process is geared towards this.
6. Can you also supply assembled or pre-assembled modules?
Yes. In addition to individual components, we also supply pre-assembled modules, e.g.:
- Table and chair frames including attachments
- Subframes with welded/screwed connecting elements
- Holding and support structures with pre-assembled components
This reduces internal assembly costs and provides you with a ready-to-install solution.
7. How flexible are you with delivery models - one-off projects vs. ongoing series?
We support both one-off projects (e.g. special shopfitting, contract furniture) and long-term series with call-off planning.
- For series customers, we can agree on call-off concepts, safety stocks and fixed delivery cycles.
- For projects, we design the production to meet the respective needs and schedule.
8. Are there minimum order quantities or industry-specific restrictions?
There is no rigid minimum order quantity, but:
- Very small quantities with high design and set-up costs are often economically difficult.
- A certain series potential or the prospect of recurring projects makes sense, especially in the hotel/catering, furniture components, shopfitting, mechanical engineering and medical technology sectors.
If in doubt, a short inquiry is worthwhile; we will openly say what is economically feasible and what is not.
