Individual yet industrial production is LMV’s strength. At our plant in Lauingen, the entire production process runs from raw material to high-end electroplating. Made in Bavaria is our trademark. Whether individual pieces or large series – our production is flexibly designed, and with our own fleet, we deliver reliably and just in time for equipping your store or branch.
We have compiled the most important work processes in our company for you, so that you can get an overview of our service portfolio:
Chapter 1 – Prerequisites for Efficient Manufacturing
The foundation of successful production is the right combination of qualified employees, sufficient production space, precise planning, and well-organized inventory management. These four factors ensure that we can react flexibly to customer requests and always deliver on time.
Our Nearly 100 Employees
Our well-trained and motivated employees are the heart of our company. With their expertise and experience, they efficiently and professionally implement the individual requirements of our customers.
16,000 Square Meters of Production Space
With a generous production area, we have enough space to efficiently handle even complex and large-volume orders. This allows us to adapt flexibly and quickly to new orders and short-term production changes.
Flexible Planning
Our modern processes guarantee smooth and efficient production control. From design in our own engineering department to delivery, we carefully plan every step to ensure the highest quality and on-time delivery.
Our Large Material Warehouse
To save time and avoid material shortages, we always maintain an extensive steel stock and a variety of custom profiles. This allows us to react quickly and flexibly to customer inquiries at any time.
Chapter 2 – Processing and Forming
During the processing phase, the raw material undergoes mechanical adaptation. Here, the steel is transformed into the product that meets our high demands for precision and quality.
Bending
By using state-of-the-art bending machines, we can bring metal parts into almost any desired shape, always precisely and tailored to the respective requirements.
Drilling
With our CNC-controlled and conventional drilling machines, we execute precise and efficient drilling. This ensures the highest fitting accuracy for further processing.
Our Stamping Processes
Our stamping processes enable us to bring metal parts into the required shapes without sacrificing precision and speed. We use a wide variety of materials and forms.
Careful Grinding
To guarantee a perfect surface, each workpiece is carefully ground. This process is crucial for the final product, especially with regard to subsequent finishing steps.
Precise Welding
Our welding techniques enable us to robustly and securely connect both small and large components. We place particular emphasis on stability and durability. We work with fully automatic welding robots as well as manual craftsmanship by our skilled personnel.
Chapter 3 – Surface Finishing
The finishing gives the product the final touch and ensures the desired surface quality. Here, the material is protected against external influences and visually enhanced.
Surface Preparation
Before the workpiece receives its final form, it is thoroughly prepared. This includes degreasing, cleaning, and preparing the surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion of the finishes.
Robust Powder Coating
Powder coating makes the material resistant to corrosion and other environmental influences. It also offers a wide selection of colors and surface textures.
Electroplating / Chrome Plating
Our electroplating finish not only provides a shiny, aesthetic look but also protects the material long-term against wear and corrosion. We design and manufacture the racks for chrome plating in our own department, which flexibly responds to component requirements and customer wishes, developing solutions. Our sophisticated manufacturing also enables a variety of surface finishes and variants. For example, brilliant chrome, pearl chrome, champagne chrome, or special chrome platings.

The Final Inspection
Before delivery, every product undergoes a thorough inspection in our final quality control. Only flawless pieces leave our factory.
The Laboratory
In our in-house laboratory, we test material quality as well as our working materials and substances, thereby ensuring compliance with all technical and legal requirements.
Quality Assurance and Environment
In addition to quality assurance, we place great importance on environmentally friendly production processes. Sustainability and environmental protection are our focus to ensure responsible production. For example, the wastewater from our manufacturing is treated and recycled according to public regulations, posing no threat to the environment.
